With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's about time I took a little wander through ye olde Interwebs for some Thanksgiving dinner inspiration. Though our Turkey Day dinners typically include the standard sides such as mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole, this just might be the year to branch out and try something new. Here are just a few of the options that have caught my eye thus far:
1. Farro Salad with Oven-Roasted Grapes and Autumn Greens 2. Wild Rice with Dried Fruit and Nuts 3. Mushroom and Walnut Stuffing 4. Crispy Cornmeal-Gruyère Muffins 5. Butternut Squash and Macaroni Casserole 6. Haricots Verts with Hazelnuts 7. Pomegranate-Orange Relish With Walnuts 8. Chocolate-Swirled Pumpkin Pie (I've been dying to try this recipe since last year!)
Wow, that is a tough choice! I'd vote for either the rice with the dried fruit, or the mushroom stuffing. Can't wait to read what you choose.
