Another week, another bundle of kale. A new type of kale, but still kale nonetheless. I have yet to find a recipe for kale that knocks my socks off -- if any of you have one, feel free to link to it in the comments! I'm not quite sure what we'll do with the ginormous head of cabbage, but perhaps Asian coleslaw is in order? The ingredient I'm most excited to see this week is the red potatoes -- given that it's the fourth of July holiday weekend, I may have to whip together a batch of my Dad's famous potato salad. That or just roast 'em in the oven with some olive oil, salt, pepper, and fresh rosemary from the garden. Yum!
I add kale to my soups and stews!
